Data collection

I like to collect lots of materials to help the understanding. However, because they are too deep and my speed is too slow, my interest for the real reading is low. And it can not keep up with the speed of the collection. And the time is limited. Their priorities are low. At the end, the time spent on surfing irrelevant material/content is more than the time on real reading. Maybe I am just obsessed by the process of collection itself. Like I enjoy going to the library rather than reading the books I borrowed from there. The real effective reading and more importantly the real understanding is beyond me, beyond my knowledge at this moment.

Once a guy told me being a PhD student, it is normal to be weird. When he were there, he also like to printed lots of publications from the journal. He accumulated such a large amount of them.

Some one really can digest the unlimited information and apply them into their daily work. They are genius and their performance are outstanding. If what you do is only occupied the information, you just copy them. You did not own them.
